We are delighted to welcome Shaun Smith, who joined our team at the beginning of June as a Water System Operator. Shaun is not a newcomer though, he spent some time last year as an Intern with the Operations team, so he hits the ground running with familiarity of the local area and our water system.

If you are an AWD customer, you should have already received the annual Water Quality Consumer Confidence Report which was mailed out at the end of June. If you did not receive your copy, it is readily available on the Districts' website here, or we still have a few at the office.  The report was printed color this year which we hope made it easier to read; and, as you will see, our water quality continues to be excellent.

Our water tanks had a Spring clean this year in April to keep Aromas's Water sparkling clean! This is an event that happens every three years, where an expert diving team disinfect themselves and dive directly into the full tanks to vacuum out any sediment that may have built up since the last cleaning.

The end of June marks the end of Fiscal Year 2018-19 and our Board and General Manager worked hard to create new budgets ready to begin the next fiscal year and can be viewed here.

Aromas Water staff and Board are happy to announce that Aromas Water is turning 60 this year! Celebrations included recognition from both Monterey and San Benito County Board of Supervisors, see pictures here, the California Senate, California State Assembly and even Congress!
